The Brew Method mugs were created in collaboration with Star House Columbus!
These mugs were printed through the social enterprise Wild Tiger Tees. Wild Tiger Tees' mission is to create jobs and positive environments for learning important work and leadership skills for Star House youth.
A portion of the proceeds of each mug goes towards youth wages, the Star Works program, and back into Wild Tiger Tees.
What are Star House and Star Works?
Star House provides drop-in services and stabilizing resources to youth experiencing homelessness. Star House is on track to serve over 1500 unique youth in 2019 and 120-150 per day. Youth are caught in a catch-22 of sustained housing, employment and transportation. They need flexible skill development and employment opportunities that sync with their instability.
There are over 3000 youth that experience homelessness every year in Franklin County. Star Works employs and empowers these youth with flexible work opportunities.
