STEPS FOR BREWING:
1. Using a coarse grind, put one rounded tablespoon of coffee per 6 ounces of water to be used, into the bottom of the carafe. (To determine the size of the French Press, refer to the number of ounces on its box).
2. Use freshly-drawn COLD water and heat to near boiling (about 200 degrees is perfect!).
3. Pour water over the grounds filling up your French Press until desired amount of coffee is brewed. Gently give a quick stir with a wooden spoon to evenly saturate the coffee.
4. Place plunger lid on top of glass carafe and push plunger to the surface of the coffee. Brew up to 4 minute, press plunger all the way down, and serve all of the coffee immediately.
After each use, unscrew the filter assembly and clean all the parts with mild soap and water, or in dishwasher.
